Sourcing Program
How we source world hops
We don’t pretend to grow these. These varieties reach us through established European hop merchants — including Charles Faram, whose Development Programme bred Most™, the first of its hops grown outside the UK.
What we add is selection and logistics. We choose lots by COA, not by brochure, and we stock them in Fort Worth so your hops ride the same pallet as your malt. Packaging varies by lot and merchant; the analysis on the COA is what you’re buying. When a variety is between crops, its page says so honestly and returns when the new harvest lands.
Featured Variety
Most™ — the newest hop in the Czech tradition
Released in 2020, Most™ is the first Charles Faram Development Programme variety grown outside the UK — a sister to Jester® and Olicana®, cultivated exclusively in the Czech Republic and named for the hop-growing town of Most. It keeps the drinkability of a Czech noble and adds what none of them have: strawberry, apricot, and gentle spice.
For a brewery pouring Czech-style lager, it's a menu story nobody else in the market is telling — and very few US wholesalers stock it at all. See current Most™ inventory.

French Hops Czech Hops Slovenian HopsBrewer FAQ
World hops, answered
Why buy French, Slovenian, or Czech hops instead of the usual German varieties?
Authenticity and range. A bière de garde built on Strisselspalt, a true Czech pilsner on Žatec-grown Saaz, or a Belgian ale finished with Styrian Golding tastes of its tradition in a way substitutes approximate but don't match. These origins also give your menu stories the taproom next door can't tell.
What is Most™ and why haven't I heard of it?
Most™ is one of the newest hops in the world — the first Charles Faram Development Programme variety grown outside the UK, released in 2020 and cultivated exclusively in the Czech Republic near the town it's named for. A sister to Jester® and Olicana®, it keeps Czech noble drinkability while adding strawberry and apricot. Few US wholesalers stock it; we do.
What can I substitute for one of these varieties?
The table above lists each hop's character; our Hop Substitution Chart gives working substitutes for every variety we carry — Strisselspalt sits closest to Hersbrucker, Styrian Golding to Fuggle, and Czech Saaz to its German-grown counterpart.
Are these specialty origins stocked in the United States?
Yes. Pro Brew Supply stocks French, Slovenian, and Czech hop varieties in Fort Worth, Texas, in 11 lb nitrogen-flushed foils and 44 lb boxes, with same-day shipping on orders placed before 3 PM CT (2 PM Fridays) — no import lead times, no minimums beyond a single foil.
