About Pro Brew Supply

Our Story

Pro Brew Supply started behind the counter of a homebrew shop. Stubby’s Texas Brewing opened in 2011 as a retail homebrew store, and for years we helped hobbyists chase better beer one five-gallon batch at a time. Then in 2016, a conversation with a customer — a former homebrewer who’d gone pro and opened his own brewery — changed our direction. He told us what it was like buying ingredients as a commercial brewer, and how little of the service he’d gotten as a hobbyist survived the jump to pallet quantities. We founded Pro Brew Supply in 2017 to fix that.

We built the company around a simple idea: professional brewers deserve more options and a more personal supplier. We’re a full-line distributor of brewing ingredients and hardware — a one-stop shop for everyone from a three-barrel brewpub to nationwide production, and for homebrew stores, who we sell to directly so they can serve their own communities.

The original 3,000-square-foot homebrew store has grown into a 43,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth, Texas — air-conditioned throughout, because malt quality is won or lost in storage. In 2023 we opened a second warehouse in the Chicago area to serve the Midwest, an operation we’ve since relocated to Atlanta, Georgia — putting two shipping origins within easy reach of most of the country, with an eye toward the West next.

We’ve never thought of ourselves as salespeople. We’re helpers who happen to run warehouses — the kind who’ll talk through a recipe, troubleshoot a sanitation routine, or help a retail store pick its shelf stock. Everyone here is in this industry because we’re passionate about brewing, and plenty of our customers have become good friends. We’re all in this together.
