Food-grade propylene glycol for brewery glycol chillers, jacketed tanks, and cold liquor loops. The industry-standard heat transfer fluid where a leak could contact product — unlike ethylene glycol, propylene glycol is non-toxic, which is why it's the only sensible choice around beer.

Runs in fermenter jackets, brite tank jackets, chiller loops, and cold plates. Mixed with water to a concentration matched to your lowest working temperature, it protects against freeze-up while carrying heat away from fermentation.

Dilution depends on the freeze protection you need — higher glycol concentration lowers the freeze point but raises viscosity and reduces heat transfer efficiency, so match it to your actual lowest setpoint rather than over-concentrating. Use distilled or treated water for mixing to avoid scale in the loop. Available in 1-gallon jugs, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums.

Non-hazardous and non-toxic, but the safety data sheet is being sourced from the manufacturer and will be posted here when it arrives. The 1-gallon jug and 5-gallon pail can ship parcel or ride your pallet; the 55-gallon drum ships LTL — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
