Food-grade phosphoric acid, 75% concentration, for brewing water adjustment and acid rinses. A workhorse acid in the brewery — used to lower mash and sparge pH, for final acid rinses after alkaline CIP, and as the acid step in a two-stage cleaning program.

Phosphoric is the flavor-neutral choice at brewing concentrations, and at higher strength it doubles as a descaler that lifts beerstone and water scale from stainless. Many breweries keep it on hand for both jobs.

Dosage depends on your water chemistry, grain bill, and target pH — measure rather than follow a fixed rate. Always add acid to water, never the reverse. Available in 1-gallon jugs, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums.

Corrosive: causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Wear appropriate PPE, store away from bases, and never mix with bleach or chlorinated products. The safety data sheet is linked below. The 1-gallon jug can ship parcel or ride your pallet; the 5-gallon pail and 55-gallon drum are DOT-regulated and ship LTL only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
