Oxy-Boost is an oxygenated booster for alkaline cleaning — active oxygen and water conditioning agents added to your caustic or non-caustic CIP solution to raise its cleaning performance on difficult soils. It's the chlorine-free way to add oxidizing power to a cleaning cycle: where a chlorinated caustic uses chlorine to strip protein and staining, Oxy-Boost brings hydrogen peroxide chemistry to the same fight and breaks down to oxygen and water.

It works by releasing oxygen into the hot alkaline solution, where it penetrates, dislodges, and helps remove the soils a straight alkaline wash struggles with. Because it conditions water as it works, it holds up in hard water alongside the cleaner it's boosting. It pairs naturally with Kettle Wash, Kettle Wash Powder, or Brew-Clean when a stubborn tank needs more than the base chemistry — without reaching for chlorine.

Dose it into the alkaline CIP solution to a total concentration of 0.1% to 1.0% by volume — at that rate, a single gallon treats roughly 100 to 1,000 gallons of working solution. Run the solution at 115°F or above, which is where oxygen release happens. One rule that is never optional: do not run it in closed systems — the released oxygen builds pressure, so the circuit must be able to vent.

Clear, colorless, non-foaming liquid, kosher certified. This is a stabilized hydrogen peroxide concentrate — a strong oxidizer — so wear appropriate PPE, keep it in its original container away from heat, sunlight, combustibles, caustics, and chlorinated products, and keep it off soft metals. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. DOT-regulated (UN2014, Class 5.1 oxidizer) and ships LTL on your pallet only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.

Quick Spec

Dose (CIP boost additive) 0.1–1.0% by volume in the alkaline CIP solution
Contact Time Runs with the alkaline CIP cycle
Temperature 115°F or above for oxygen release
Rinse Yes — fresh water rinse
DOT Class UN2014 · DOT Class 5.1 oxidizer, subsidiary 8 (hydrogen peroxide solution, PG II)
Compatibility Avoid soft metals. Never run in closed systems — oxygen release builds pressure. Store the concentrate away from caustics, combustibles, and chlorinated products; oxidizer segregation applies in the warehouse.
