Klor Scrub is Ace Chemical's chlorinated alkaline powder for manual cleaning — the bucket-and-brush counterpart to the CIP cleaners. It's the one you reach for on general cleaning chores: parts, fittings, kegs, work surfaces, floors, and anywhere hands and foam do the work instead of a spray ball.

A highly-built detergent combining high-foaming surfactants, balanced alkaline builders, and water conditioners, it delivers maximum soil penetration, removal, and suspension in any water condition — with the oxidizing benefits of chlorine on top. The chlorine strips protein soils and bluing from stainless, controls odors, and helps keep mold and mildew down. Controlled alkalinity means it's safe on soft metals when used as directed, and it rinses free without residue.

Use ½ to 2 oz by weight per gallon of warm to hot water, varying with soil type and load, and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. A 1% solution runs pH 11. Available in a 45 lb bucket.

One rule that always applies to chlorinated alkaline chemistry: never mix with acids — the combination releases chlorine gas. Its copious stable foam is a feature for hand cleaning but makes it unsuitable for CIP recirculation; use Kettle Wash or Kettle Wash Powder for that. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. Ships LTL on your pallet only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
