Kettle Wash Powder is the dry form of Ace Chemical's high-alkaline recirculation cleaner — sodium hydroxide detergency in a full-strength powder for CIP and COP cycles throughout the brewhouse. It does the same job as liquid Kettle Wash: brew kettles, mash tuns, hot liquor tanks, and lauter tuns, where cooked-on protein, trub, and hop resin need genuine caustic strength to break down.

Low-foaming by design, so it recirculates cleanly through spray balls and pumps without foaming out mid-cycle. Water conditioning agents control hardness at both high and low alkalinity ranges, penetrating and lifting tenacious brewing soils instead of letting them build cycle after cycle, and it rinses free without leaving residue. As a powder it ships dense and stores indefinitely — no freeze risk, and none of your freight dollars spent moving water.

Dose ½ to 4 oz by weight per gallon of water depending on soil load, circulate at 120–140°F, and rinse well with fresh water. A 1% solution runs pH 12. Available in a 45 lb pail.

Highly alkaline and corrosive: wear appropriate PPE and keep it off soft metals. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. Ships LTL on your pallet only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
