Kettle Wash is Ace Chemical's high-alkaline recirculation cleaner — a sodium hydroxide liquid built for CIP and COP cycles throughout the brewhouse. It's the workhorse for brew kettles, mash tuns, hot liquor tanks, lauter tuns, and chillers, where cooked-on protein, trub, and hop resin need genuine caustic strength to break down.

Low-foaming by design, so it recirculates cleanly through spray balls and pumps without foaming out mid-cycle. A blend of chelating agents controls water hardness across the alkalinity range, penetrating and lifting beerstone and mineral scale instead of letting it build cycle after cycle. It rinses free and leaves no residue behind.

Dose 1/2 to 4 oz per gallon depending on soil load, circulate at 120–140°F, and rinse well with fresh water. A 1% solution runs pH 13. Available in 5-gallon pails, 15-gallon carboys, and 55-gallon drums — the drum sizes earn their keep in breweries running daily CIP.

Highly alkaline and corrosive: wear appropriate PPE and keep it off soft metals. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. DOT-regulated and ships LTL on your pallet only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
