Foam Klor is a self-foaming chlorinated alkaline detergent for exterior surfaces — the chlorinated counterpart to Foam Safe. It uses the oxidizing power of chlorine to keep stainless bright and free of protein bluing, and it is built to penetrate and lift the soils that collect on brewing equipment and environmental surfaces. Chlorinated foaming cleaners are the industry standard for stainless throughout the food industry.

Chlorine is what separates it from a plain alkaline foamer: it strips protein soils, pulls the blue haze off stainless, and controls odors along the way — real benefits for plant hygiene, not just appearance. The surfactant blend gives it maximum detergency and copious, stable foam suited to air-operated and hand-held foam units. It performs in hard water, rinses free without residue, and is phosphate-free and biodegradable.

Read the per-gallon number the right way. At the foam dose, Foam Klor runs about $0.72 per working gallon — well above what a CIP caustic costs per gallon, and that's exactly the wrong comparison. A CIP cycle recirculates its entire loop volume, so pennies per gallon multiply by the tankful. A foam session uses only the few gallons that actually cling to the surface: five gallons of mixed solution — enough to coat a lot of tank exterior, wall, and floor — costs about $3.61. For surface work, the unit that matters is cost per foaming session, and by that unit a pail of concentrate stretches across months of them.

For foam cleaning, use roughly 4 to 8 fl oz per gallon of hot water. For manual cleaning, use ½ to 4 fl oz per gallon of warm water. For high-pressure cleaning, use ½ to 2 fl oz per gallon. Rinse well with fresh water in every case. A 1% solution runs above pH 12.

Avoid soft metals — this is chlorinated alkaline chemistry, so aluminum and other soft metals are out; use Foam Safe there instead. Never mix it with acid products, which releases chlorine gas. Store in a cool, dry area with the container closed. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. Ships LTL on your pallet from Fort Worth or Atlanta — we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
