Ace-O-Dine LF is Ace Chemical's EPA-registered, low-foaming iodophor sanitizer with a no-rinse claim — the iodine option for breweries that want the classic brown-bottle chemistry in a formulation built for CIP and spray systems rather than buckets. It sanitizes all food-contact surfaces after cleaning and doubles as an environmental bactericide for walls, floors, and conveyors.

The LF is the point: low foaming means it recirculates through spray balls and CIP loops without foaming out, which most consumer iodophors can't do. A potassium hydroxide–based formulation with a blend of chelants keeps it free-rinsing and effective in hard water across the pH range.

Sanitize at 1 fl oz per 5 gallons of cold or lukewarm water — that's 25 ppm titratable iodine, the level federally permitted with no potable rinse. Contact times: 1 minute for equipment, 5 minutes for tanks and vats, 2 minutes for environmental surfaces. It also pre-cleans at 1–2 fl oz per 5 gallons before the sanitizing pass. Never use hot water with an iodophor. Available in 1-gallon jugs and a 4-gallon case of four jugs.

Dark brown liquid with a characteristic iodine odor; a 1% solution runs below pH 6. Iodophors can stain plastics with prolonged contact, so drain and air dry rather than soaking. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. The 1-gallon jug ships parcel as a DOT Limited Quantity — one jug per shipment — while the 4-gallon case rides your pallet LTL from Fort Worth or Atlanta, and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
