Ace Complete is a one-step CIP recirculation cleaner — a heavy-duty alkaline cleaner that combines the caustic and acid cycles into a single pass. For breweries running daily CIP, that means no separate acid wash and no second rinse.

A proprietary blend of detergents, surfactants, and water conditioning agents penetrates and removes tenacious soils while lifting mineral scale and preventing it from redepositing, leaving stainless bright. It controls hard water across the pH range, so performance doesn't fall off with your water supply. Low foaming, so it recirculates cleanly.

For cold-side equipment, use 1 to 4 oz per gallon of hot water. For hot-side equipment, use 1 to 6 oz per gallon. Dilution varies with soil type and load. A 1% solution runs above pH 12. Available in 5-gallon pails, 15-gallon carboys, and 55-gallon drums.

The real comparison isn't per gallon — it's per cycle. At the cold-side dose, Ace Complete runs about $0.34 per working gallon. The two-step alternative — Kettle Wash Plus at about $0.27, plus Acid 36 at about $0.12 on the cycles where the acid wash runs — averages roughly $0.31–$0.33 per gallon with an acid rinse every second or third cycle. On chemical cost alone, it's a wash. What the two-step program really costs is the acid cycle itself: a second fill, a second heat-up, a second recirculation, and a second rinse — double the water, effluent, energy, and tank time every time it runs. At the hot-side dose Ace Complete runs about $0.48 per gallon, and the eliminated cycle still pays for the difference many times over. If your municipality monitors discharge pH — federal pretreatment rules prohibit sewer discharges below pH 5.0, and local limits are often tighter on both ends — every cleaning cycle you eliminate is pH-extreme effluent you don't have to neutralize, monitor, or answer for.

Pair it with a no-rinse peracetic sanitizer like Reflex and the full turnaround becomes one cleaning cycle and one sanitizing pass — no acid cycle, no final rinse. Switching to one-step doesn't banish acid from the brewery — it demotes it. Keep a pail of Acid 36 on the shelf for what acid is actually for: the periodic passivation cycle that protects your stainless, and touch-ups after repairs — and stop paying to run it as a routine wash.

Highly alkaline — wear appropriate PPE and keep it off soft metals. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. DOT-regulated and ships LTL on your pallet only, never by parcel carrier — and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.

Cost Per Working Gallon

What Cleaning Actually Costs

At a cold side dose of 2.5 oz per gallon, here’s what each size really costs per gallon of ready-to-use solution.

Size Price Working Gallons Cost / Working Gal
5 Gal Pail $86.95 ≈ 256 gal $0.34
15 Gal Carboy $233.95 ≈ 768 gal $0.30
