Ace-A-San is Ace Chemical's EPA-registered acid-anionic sanitizer — the same dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid chemistry class as Star San, in a wholesale-priced jug. It's a no-rinse final sanitizing step for pre-cleaned, hard non-porous surfaces: pipelines, tanks, filters, vats, and utensils.

Beyond killing, it's passive on stainless and provides post-rinse acidification as it sanitizes, so the last thing touching your equipment is a mild acid film rather than alkaline residue. At recommended dilution it's remarkably economical — a single gallon makes roughly 640 gallons of working sanitizer.

Sanitize previously cleaned equipment at 1 fl oz per 5 gallons of water (200 ppm active). Dip, brush, or spray, allow at least 2 minutes of contact, drain well, and air dry — no potable rinse required at or below 400 ppm. Pre-clean first with an alkaline cleaner at 130–160°F and rinse before sanitizing. Prepare manual solutions fresh daily. Available in 1-gallon jugs and a 4-gallon case of four jugs.

Concentrated acid at full strength: pH 2 at a 1% solution, moderate foaming, keep it off soft metals, and wear appropriate PPE when handling the concentrate. The SDS and technical data sheet are linked below. The 1-gallon jug ships parcel as a DOT Limited Quantity — one jug per shipment — while the 4-gallon case rides your pallet LTL, and we charge no hazmat fees, ever.
