GR Ariana CY25 from Spalter Hopfen is one of the newer stars of the Hüll breeding program — a modern German flavor hop built for the hoppy end of the portfolio. It's a strong fit for IPA, pale ale, and dry-hopped lager, and it holds its own in hop bills that would otherwise default to American varieties.

Expect bright fruit, citrus, and floral notes with gooseberry and stone-fruit facets emerging in heavy dry-hop use. Ariana was bred for late and dry-hop additions, where its fruit expression is strongest, and it layers well with Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc for a fully German take on a modern hop profile.

This hop is available in 11 lb foils and 44 lb boxes. Choose the 11 lb foil for rotating hoppy releases and trials; choose the 44 lb box when Ariana features in a recurring IPA or hoppy lager program.

Hop analysis values vary by crop year and lot — confirm current alpha, beta, and total oil for the active lot on the COA or with our team before final recipe calculations. Cold-stored in Fort Worth and Atlanta and lot-documented from Spalt to your dock.
