IREKS Pale Ale Malt is a clean, versatile base malt with more malt depth than a standard pilsner malt while still staying light, balanced, and easy to build around. It brings a soft golden color, gentle biscuit-like malt character, and enough structure to support both classic ale styles and modern hop-forward beers.

Use it as a primary base malt in pale ales, bitters, blonde ales, golden ales, IPAs, hazy ales, amber ales, and other recipes where brewers want a dependable malt foundation with a little more flavor than a very pale lager malt. It is especially useful when you want the malt to support hops and yeast character without getting too sweet, heavy, or distracting.
