A mildly malty and slightly fruity fermentation profile

Wyeast 1099 Whitbread Ale Yeast has mildly malty and slightly fruity fermentation characteristics. It is less tart and dry then 1098 British Ale yeast. This yeast clears well without filtration.

Recommended Styles include London Brown Ale, Sweet and Oatmeal Stouts, English IPA, Blonde Ale, Ordinary/Best/Strong Bitters.

Flocculation: Medium - High
Attenuation: 68-72
Temperature: 64-75
ABV: up to 10%

Tips and Tricks: Fermenting at low temperatures will create a clean finish with low esters character.
