gr-spalter-select-cy25
GR Spalter Select Hops – CY25 – Spalter Hopfen

GR Spalter Select CY25 from Spalter Hopfen brings Spalter-type noble character in a modern, higher-yielding variety — bred in Hüll to carry the fine, spicy profile of the landrace Spalter with more agronomic reliability. It's a strong fit for German pilsner, helles, Kölsch, and continental lagers, and its gentle spice also plays well in Belgian styles where refined European hop character supports expressive fermentation.

Expect a sweet herbal aroma with floral spice notes — recognizably in the Spalter family, slightly fuller than the g.U. original, with alpha in a more workable range for combined bittering-and-aroma use. It performs across the kettle: clean early bitterness, composed late-addition aroma, and a classic noble finish.

This hop is available in 11 lb foils and 44 lb boxes. Choose the 11 lb foil for trials, seasonal releases, and smaller runs; choose the 44 lb box for recurring lager production — four sealed 11 lb foils per box keeps opened inventory fresh.

Hop analysis values vary by crop year and lot. The CY25 lot runs 6.3% alpha; for exact alpha, beta, and total oil values, refer to the COA or contact our team. Cold-stored in Fort Worth and Atlanta and lot-documented from Spalt to your dock.
